How HugPad works
HugPad turns any public Hugging Face model into a token on Robinhood Chain. Anyone can launch. Creator fees are locked to the model author, who claims them with a verified GitHub account.
Overview
Pick a model
Search by name, author, or task. The model page is the only input a launch needs.
Launch onchain
Sign one authorization. HugPad deploys the token and pays the gas.
Fees to the author
Creator fees accrue to the model author and are claimed with a verified GitHub account.
Four steps
- Pick a Hugging Face modelSearch any public model by name, author, or task. You never pick a repository or a wallet for the fees.
- Fees stay with the model authorEach Hugging Face author has a dedicated fee account managed by HugPad. Fees stay reserved for that author even before a GitHub account is linked. The launcher cannot redirect them.
- Launch on Robinhood ChainConnect an EVM wallet, review the locked token details, and sign a launch authorization. HugPad submits the transaction and covers the deployment cost and gas. You do not need to own the model.
- The author claimsThe owner signs in with GitHub, verifies the link to their Hugging Face identity, and authorizes a payout to their connected wallet. HugPad collects available protocol fees and submits the payout.
Locked creator fees
Every token launched on HugPad routes its creator fees to a dedicated fee account tied to the Hugging Face author, not to the person who clicked launch. The fee-account address is fixed on-chain at deployment, so neither the launcher nor HugPad can point it anywhere else afterwards.
Authors do not need to do anything up front. Fees accumulate from the first trade. When the author is ready, they sign in with the GitHub account linked from their Hugging Face profile or official project, verify the match, and authorize a payout to any wallet. HugPad covers the network fees for the claim.
Open the Creators pageQuestions
How is the GitHub owner resolved?
We check the Hugging Face profile, model card, and verified project links, including the author's official website when its project repository can be confirmed. The match is recorded with the immutable GitHub account ID. An organization member's personal account is not automatically the organization's fee recipient.
What if the author hasn't linked GitHub?
The model can still launch. Fees remain reserved for its Hugging Face author. After adding a verifiable GitHub link to their profile or official project, the author can find and claim those fees from the Creators page.
Can I launch a model I don't own?
Yes. Any public model can be launched, but the creator fees never come to you. They route to the author's GitHub account, and nothing about a launch implies endorsement by the author or Hugging Face.
What about organizations?
If the linked GitHub account is an organization, fees belong to the organization. Claiming requires an authorized GitHub organization administrator to verify access, not an arbitrary member or the launcher.
What does it cost?
HugPad covers the launch transaction and network gas within its sponsorship limits. Your wallet signs an authorization without transferring your funds. Trading fees are set by the launchpad contracts.
Can a deployed token be changed?
No. A confirmed deployment is irreversible. The name, ticker, and author fee-account address are fixed on-chain, so review each field before signing your launch authorization.
Why are some features unavailable?
Launching and claiming open only once the contracts, authentication, and network services are ready. Missing market data is left blank rather than estimated.
